2:00–INFECTIOUS
Infectious is a newly formed party band. They are a bunch of fun loving musicians, who are trying to spread the joy of popular songs. They are still evolving and defining their choices of music to play, but all six members of the band are having a blast playing music in front of live audiences. They made their debut at Reading’s Porch Fest in June, and invited to Wakefield’s Porchfest
The originator is Carol “CAZ” Gebert on lead guitar. On rhythm guitar and flute is Jeanne “Jazz” Simko. “Buzz” Billy Scarborough is our drummer and does some singing. Eddie “EDG” Dee is on keyboard and is our primary singer. “Tomcat” Tom Reid is on bass guitar. And Carol “Cash” Hanson is on vocals and acts as our Master of Ceremonies. Eddie Dee is Linden Tree’s longtime sound engineer.
3:00—MARK ZELERMEYER & FRIENDS.
Voted “Audience Favorite” at last year’s Linden Tree Coffeehouse Potpourri, Mark Zelermyer’s songs range from poignant to funny. Mark & his band perform around Greater Boston, as far away as England.
4:00 Betty’s Bounce.
Betty’s Bounce, one of Wakefield’s favorite groups, plays music inspired by Django Reinhardt, (a Parisian gypsy jazz guitarist of the 1930’s-40’s) and infused by American jazz, Blues and Pop music. The music is lively and upbeat and covers swing, ballads and Latin styles. They’ve released 3 recordings, “Swingin'”, “Blues For Django” and “Luminous”.
Betty’s Bounce recordings of “Blues for Django” and “Luminous” are now available on all major streaming platforms: Spotify, Apple Music, TikTok, Pandora, Amazon, Instagram, YouTube, Tidal, iHeartRadio, & Deezer. Audie Bridges – Guitar Curtis Doo – Guitar & Vocals Sam Bridges Bass
