l’Esperance Mandolin Ensemble Concert

The l’Esperance Mandolin Ensemble, features musicians from Massachusetts, New York, Rhode Island and Connecticut of different backgrounds and ages who come together for the pleasure of making music!  This diverse ensemble, sometimes up to 17 musicians,  play mandolins, mandolas, octave mandolins, mandocellos, mandobass and guitar!  This versatile, intimate instrument readily lends its voice from classical to contemporary, from bluegrass, Celtic, American Traditional to Klezmer, from pop classics to Baroque, and l’Esperance will do it all!  L’Esperance has been sharing the joy of the mandolin with audiences around New England since 1994.  This is a rare, all-acoustic concert that we’re pleased to present at the South Shore Folk Music Club!
