Canadien singer/songwriters James Keelaghan, and David Woodhead perform at the New Moon Coffeehouse on Saturday February 21st at 7:30pm. The coffeehouse is in the Universalist Unitarian Church, 16 Ashland St, Haverhill MA. Admission to the show is $25; $10 for those aged 21 and under.

Throughout his career Keelaghan has documented the lives of individuals and historical events in transportive songs that have earned him both Juno and Canadian Folk Music Awards. His compelling voice and storytelling prowess bring the struggles and relationships of real people to the fore. Whether it’s Japanese internment, forest fires, mine work or just a good old love story, Keelaghan delivers in unforgettable style.

David Woodhead has been touring with Keelaghan all over North America and making a big name for himself. His instrumental skills are visible on guitar, ukelele, recorder, piano, banjo, violin, and his instrument du jour bass. He adds depth and emotion both as an accompanist and as a soloist. His jazz experience and his classical foundation make him a dynamic and unique improvisor.

The box office opens around 6:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm. Please bring cash with you to pay for gate tickets and extras, like desserts and musician products.
