Christine Lavin

Called “wildly entertaining” by The New Yorker, “the unsung heroine of the latter-day folk movement” by Janis Ian and “a fresh kick in the pants!” by the late Paul Newman, Christine Lavin performs throughout the US, Canada and beyond. She is known for her sense of humor and her songs range from poignant observations about love, history and science to gentle mocking of cultural trends. She has won five ASCAP Composer Awards, The Kate Wolf Memorial Award, and Album of The Year from the National Association of Independent Record Distributors. Her 26th solo album, Drum School Droput, will be released later this year.
