Abbie Gardner and Carolann Solobello
The New Moon Coffeehouse is thrilled to bring 2/3rds of the beloved American trio Red Molly to the stage. Abbie Gardner and Carolann Solebello perform on Saturday November 15th at 7:30pm. The coffeehouse is in the Universalist Unitarian Church, 16 Ashland St, Haverhill MA. Admission to the show is $25; $10 for those aged 21 and under.
Carolann’s smooth voice and warm guitar harmonizes perfectly with Abbie’s fiery dobro and captivating vocals. Together, their performance is unmistakenly unique and awesome. Each woman is an award-winning songwriter with solid solo careers. Carolann’s style gives a nod to rural folk traditions while bringing the music into the present with her urban rhythms and sophisticated vocals. Abbie’s performances feature truly unique use of the dobro as a solo instrument, bouncing between a solid rhythmic backbone and ripping lead lines, all in support of her voice and songs. She channels Lucinda and Bonnie but remains pure Abbie. Together the duo brings audiences on a joyful ride of great music.
Reserve or buy tickets for the show on the New Moon website; www.newmooncoffeehouse.org. Tickets are also available on show day at the door, cash only. The box office opens around 6:30pm; doors open at 7:00pm. Please bring cash with you to pay for gate tickets and extras, like desserts and musician products.
