First Church Friday Coffee House presents its first concert of the 2025-2026 season featuring Heather Mumford Project in the Parish Hall at First Church and Parish Dedham, 670 High Street, Dedham on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 7:30 pm in the Parish House. There will be refreshments for purchase. Tickets are $15 available at the door or online at Home | dedhamuu. Doors open at 7:00 pm.
Heather Mumford is a Boston-based musician and performance artist. In addition to her solo career as a performer and song writer under the pseudonym Little Microscopic Clouds, Heather has participated in various non-traditional performance groups, including several ukulele acts, which helped establish her as part of Boston’s underground ukulele movement since its humble beginnings. Heather Mumford is a Boston-based musician and performance artist. The Heather Mumford Project is the latest collaboration by a group of seasoned musicians, led by Heather on vocals, uke and fiddle, with: Gary Kemp (vocals, resonator guitar); Sam Kendall (vocals, mandolin); and special guest Sandy Wells (double bass). Their music is a beautiful Americana harmony of Country, Bluegrass, Folk and Blues. Come for the pickin’ & grinnin’ – and playing the blues so sad, you’ll cry.
First Church and Parish Dedham Unitarian Universalist was first gathered in 1638 and is located in Dedham Center at 670 High Street. Its lively music program includes its choir at Sunday services and the Parish Players theater troupe, in addition to our Friday Folk Coffeehouse events.
