“With just a couple of chords, Sean Magwire envelopes you in a melody that seems to tell secrets.”
Come join us for our next house concert with award-winning Massachusetts-based contemporary Folk/Americana singer-songwriter SEAN MAGWIRE AND TRIO. A high school adjustment counselor by day, and a two-time Grand Prize winner in the John Lennon Songwriting Contest by night. Sean’s music has been featured on All Things Considered, The Boston Globe, PBS, NPR, and in the feature film Fly Old Birds:Escape to the Ark. He has performed at festivals across the country, including Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Whitefish Songwriter Festival, Red Lodge Songwriting Festival, and Falcon Ridge Folk Festival.
You will be welcome in our spacious home. Drinks, snacks, and plenty of joy provided as we connect through music to the larger circles among us. Sean will be releasing his new album ‘Echoes in the Wind’ on 3/28. This album delves into the highs and lows of human experience, weaving relatable stories of everyday life. This concert will serve as the album release event and Sean will be joined by multi-instrumentalists, Steve & Tommy Combs. They will perform the album in its entirety as well as other fan-favorites.
