Peter Lehndorff in livestream for Open Book Coffeehouse

March 19, 2022 @ 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm

Free

The Open Book Coffeehouse continues its proud, fifteen-year tradition of offering quality, live music. This year, to ensure safety for both performers and audience members, the concerts will be livestreamed. The season continues on Saturday evening, March 19, with a virtual concert featuring singer/songwriter Peter Lehndorff. The concerts are free to all, and made possible by the support of the Friends of the Canton Public Library. The concert will be broadcast on Peter’s YouTube page at https://youtu.be/uoZP_7BGEkU and stream live from 7:30-8:30 p.m ET.

Peter Lehndorff writes songs about everyday life. Some are humorous observations about everyday life and life in a small town. In addition to his slice of life songs, Peter is now mixing the funny with the serious. Some songs reflect his experiences as a caregiver for his late wife.  He has many musical credits, including: Songwriting finalist at the virtual CT Folk Festival, and finalist in the Boston Acoustic Underground competition.

He has a brand new album, “Don’t Be Discouraged,” in the works. He will be joined by Susan Hill on background vocals. You can find out more about Lehndorff and his music at https://www.facebook.com/standupfolk   and  http://lehndorff.com/music/

Donations may be made to the Friends of the Canton Public Library via the library website, by clicking the yellow “donate” button at https://library.canton.ma.us/187/Friends-of-the-Library. Donations to the performers may be made during the concert.
