SUMMARY:Antje Duvekot
DESCRIPTION:Originally born in Germany and transplanted to the U.S. as a young teen\, Antje Duvekot began to hone her observational skills through a lens of biculturalism when she picked up a guitar during that move. Some years later\, the confessional folk of Dar Williams and Ani DiFranco gave her license to share her observations\, no matter how personal. Antje has extensive touring experience. She is a compelling live performer and has been invited to play top festivals\, such as the Newport Folk Festival\, Mountain Stage\, Philadelphia\, and Kerrville Festivals and others. Internationally\, she’s headlined the Celtic Connections Festival in Scotland and the Tonder Festival in Denmark. Antje has won some of the top songwriting awards\, including the Grand Prize in the John Lennon Songwriting Competition and the “Best New Folk Award” at Kerrville. In one of the nation’s top music markets\, she won the Boston Music Award for “Outstanding Folk Act”. She has appeared on various NPR programs. Antje’s five studio albums\, including her latest\, “New Wild West”\, were produced by Mark Erelli\, Seamus Egan of SOLAS\, Richard Shindell\, and Scott Petito\, respectively\, and feature support from Anais Mitchell\, John Gorka\, Lucy Kaplansky\, Sean Mullins\, Liz Longley\, Mark Erelli\, and Kris Delmhorst\, among others. \nCabaret Seating. Starting out hoping to be an R&B and jazz singer once at college\, there he discovered his affinity for the storytelling sensibilities of the acoustic singer-songwriter thing. Noted not only for being the ever consummate performer\, Gilbert has recorded 13 albums\, including 5 for Philo/Rounder Records.

SUMMARY:North Reading Community Coffeehouse February\, 2026 Showcase
DESCRIPTION:The North Reading Community Coffeehouse is proud to present its February\, 2026 Showcase. The performers are Uri and Lance Bourque\, Cynthia Keefe and Kevin Kelley and The Lion Sisters – Josi and Lily Lion.  We have a group of very talented musicians this month with a nice variety of music which will make for a very entertaining show.  Each performer will do about a 40 minute set.The event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted and we will be offering refreshments with all the proceeds going to the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library in North Reading with whom we will be doing these concerts in conjunction with\, to help support the library.\n\nThe event will also be livestreamed on the North Reading Community Coffeehouse Facebook page and on the YouTube channel the following day! \nThe links to the Facebook page and YouTube Channel are: \nhttps://www.facebook.com/nrcoffeehouse \nhttps://www.youtube.com/@NRCoffeehouse \nWe are located in the Activity Room of the Flint Memorial Library at 147 Park Street in North Reading.  There is plenty of free parking.  We start at 6:30.  Please come\, sit back\, relax and listen to some terrific music!  If you have any questions\, please contact Art Grossman at NRCoffeehouse@gmail.com.\n\n\n\n
