Since its founding in 2002\, it has experienced a meteoric rise that never ceases to amaze! \nThe group performs works from the traditional repertoire as well as original compositions. Their skills as performers\, arrangers\, and composers\, as well as their powerful stage presence\, imbued with profound generosity\, are now recognized worldwide. \nLe Vent de Nord has performed over 2\,000 concerts on four continents\, released 12 albums\, and has received numerous prestigious awards\, including a GRAND PRIX DU DISQUE CHARLES CROS (France)\, two JUNO AWARDS (Canada)\, two Canadian Folk Music Awards\, and four FÉLIX awards at ADISQ (Quebec). It was named ARTIST OF THE YEAR at the International Folk Alliance Conference (2006) and was the first recipient of the TRANSATLANTIC BRIDGE AWARD (2015)\, jointly awarded by the international organizations BabelMed (France) and Mundial Montréal (Quebec). \nAfter 22 years on the road\, the band is now made up of singers and multi-instrumentalists Nicolas Boulerice\, André Brunet\, Réjean Brunet\, Olivier Demers and André Gagné.
