SUMMARY:North Reading Community Coffeehouse - Performing Artist Series Featuring "Loose Change"
DESCRIPTION:The North Reading Community Coffeehouse (NRCC) is happy to welcome “Loose Change” featuring Gary Dolinsky\, Dominic Priolo and Larry Plitt. \nWhile they are each outstanding musicians in their own right\, they complement each other beautifully. \nThe Loose Change Trio performs songs that spans several generations creating a unique and pleasing mix of old and new!  \nTheir songbook includes classic country\, blues\, Motown\, pop music\, folk\, bluegrass\, and even a few “standards”. SUMMARY:North Reading Community Coffeehouse October Showcase
DESCRIPTION:The North Reading Community Coffeehouse is proud to present its October Showcase. This one is a little different than most in that we are doing it on a Friday and we are welcoming two first time performers\, Tom Cook and Glen Gardner who is coming to North Reading from Phoenix. The other performers are Mary Ann McAllister who is returning to the NRCC from Maryland\, another NRCC veteran\, Tom Maynard and Art Grossman. Each performer will do about a 30 minute set.The event is free but donations will be gratefully accepted and we will be offering refreshments with all the proceeds going to the Friends of the Flint Memorial Library in North Reading with whom we will be doing these concerts in conjunction with\, to help support the library.\nThe event will also be livestreamed on the North Reading Community Coffeehouse Facebook page and on the YouTube channel the following day! \nWe are located in the Activity Room of the Flint Memorial Library at 147 Park Street in North Reading.  There is plenty of free parking.  We start at 6:30.  Please come\, sit back\, relax and listen to some terrific music!  If you have any questions\, please contact Art Grossman at NRCoffeehouse@gmail.com.\n\n\n\n

Carolann’s smooth\, compelling voice and warm acoustic guitar style nod to rural folk traditions while her decidedly urban sense of rhythm and sophisticated vocal phrasing plant her firmly in the present. An award-winning songwriter and proud member of AFM Local 1000\, Carolann has five solo albums to her credit and is working on a sixth.

A continental breakfast will be served in the morning\, and lunch will also be included. (Let us know if you have dietary restrictions.) Registration costs and the exact program are still being worked out\, so please keep an eye on our website for updates. \nThe Vox Hunters (Benedict Gagliardi and Armand Aromin) and Flannery Brown are on staff for this event. Hailing from the great state of Rhode Island\, Armand Aromin and Benedict Gagliardi are seekers and singers of old songs\, cultivators of local music\, and chronic multi-instrumentalists. They are touted as strong tradition-bearers in their generation\, and their genuine affinity for the music is evident in the emotion they draw from it. With a pair of oft-harmonizing voices tastefully garnished with fiddle\, free-reeds\, and tenor guitar\, The Vox Hunters offer an all-natural connection to the living tradition of folk music. Flannery Brown plays cello\, sings songs\, writes tunes\, and infuses the trio’s music with an infectious energy.
