Join us for a virtual concert featuring Ellis Paul and opener Alice Howe at 7:00 PM October 29. 2020. This event is a co-presentation of Music on Centre in West Roxbury (Theodore Parker Church)  and the New Moon Coffeehouse in Haverhill. But you can watch from the comfort of your own home!  On the evening of Thursday October 29, Ellis Paul will zoom in from VIrginia to regale us with his magnetic voice and samples of his thirty years of creativity. In addition, the exciting new star, Alice Howe, will come to us from California as the opener of the show. Like last time, the concert is free but donations can be made via PayPal or Venmo on the internet and of course the old-fashioned way, by check. And like last time, we will continue the format of an after party we are calling the Chat/Jam with two more musicians of note to join in for a half hour or so. Be sure to stay until the end for the Chat/Jam where you will be gifted with the fabulous talent of the mystery guests!

Speaking of fabulous talent, Ellis Paul has achieved national fame for his poetic songwriting and his original sound, as well as the many CDs he has made, both for children and adults. He is also an author, poet and educator who has taught songwriting workshops all over the country.

Alice Howe is from the greater Boston area but having made a huge splash at national music conferences, she is now living in Los Angeles, working on her next CD with veteran musicians there. Famed singer-songwriter Vance Gilbert says of her, “How can a singer-songwriter have a voice like a broken angel’s bell and write songs that could be a week or a hundred years old all at once? Alice Howe, that’s how.”
