Reverend Robert Jones is celebrated as a mesmerizing blues performer, storyteller, music teacher and educator. He has created several rousing historical music programs for students at public schools and colleges across the country. He is also a beloved teacher at Summer Acoustic Music Week, the WUMB adult music camp in New Hampshire, where he has taught blues guitar and performance skills. His concert shows are a mix of African-American favorites and originals that reflect the Black experience, tempered with grace and love.
The venue is located in the parish hall behind the Theodore Parker Church in West Roxbury and opens to the public at 7:00. Reservations can be made by emailing email@example.com. Pay at the door with cash or credit. There is a family maximum of $40 as all Music on Centre shows are appropriate for all ages. Plenty of free parking near by. Delicious desserts and hot and cold beverages are on sale before the show and during intermission. All proceeds benefit the operation and outreach of the Theodore Parker UU Church.
