Featuring Susan Cattaneo

Susan Cattaneo is one of Boston’s most respected songwriters. A powerful singer and sophisticated writer, Susan combines vivid storytelling with a modern songwriter’s spin. Respectful of tradition, but not bound by it, Susan blends rock, folk and blues with a healthy dose of country. Susan performed as an Emerging Artist at the Falcon Ridge Festival and has been a finalist or winner at some of the most prestigious songwriting competitions in the country, including the Kerrville’s New Folk Contest, the Wildflower Festival, the Mid-Atlantic Song Contest, the International Acoustic and Independent Music Awards, the USA Songwriting Contest and Mountain Stage Contests. She just released her fifth record, The Hammer and The Heart a double album featuring 40 artists including Mark Erelli, The Bottle Rockets and Bill Kirchen, Jenee Halstead, Dennis Brennan and Jennifer Kimball.  Photo credit – Jyoti Sackett
